In iNotes we find that a small number of emails cannot be opened. This issue was referred to IBM, and their engineers found a set of fields were being added to the emails. Those fileds, LastScannedVersion, LastScannedVersionOID, LastScanOID, and LastScanOIDCheck, contained garbage that caused the emails to fail to open with messages indicating they failed due to an unterminated string. (The emails open without incident in the Notes client.) IBM suggested contact with our antivirus vendor, but the vendor reported they didn't add the fields. The fields only apply to some emails with attachments, with other emails from the same parties lacking those fields even though those emails also have aattachments. Would anyone have any idea what might be adding these fields? Scans with Malwarebytes haven't turned up anything.
